November Favorites!!

I honestly can't believe that November has already come and gone...

time flies rather too quickly,

but never-the-less it is time, for my November favorites!!

BEAUTY

 1. Mac's Blackberry

I've been using this color on my outer corner for a smoke-y eye look that just reads fall! its a hint of purple that blends beautifully with matte brown shades.

2. Revlon's Black Cherry Lipstick

I love this dark vampy plum red color during the fall time. it feels festive with a bit of edge.

3. Revlon's Rich Nail Polish

I've been wearing this polish repeatedly. its just so sparkly, and has a golden olive green tint that I absolutely adore!

 4. Coach Poppy Perfume
this perfume smells so sweet and girly! I love it, it still has sophisticated notes in it so I don't feel immature while wearing it.

5. Michael Todd's Charcoal Scrub

this may look off putting at first... its dark grey like charcoal, but it scrubs down into your pours for a clean feel, and blemishes seem to disappear with consistent use.

6. Naked Palette I
I've been loving my naked 1 palette this month, the colors are warmer which are perfect for a fall/winter smoke-y eye.

7. Loreal's Butterfly Mascara

this pulls my lashes out for long full lashes that last all day. I don't notice any flakiness at the end of the day. so far so good!

FASHION

1. Sequin Tops

I was never one for sequins, but I've found myself more drawn to them, if they are done in a classy way. with a blazer, and skinny jeans, it looks tre chic!

2. Knit Orange Scarf

my knit orange scarf has not only kept me warm, but looks super cute with almost any outfit!!

3. Geometric Pendants.

during the sweater weather season, i'm more drawn to geometric like pendants, because I can still wear them with scarves, and it adds a bit of metallic glam.

4. Oversized t-shirts

I'll admit, I've been getting lazy with creating trendy outfits, I tend to gravitate to oversized t-shirts because I can dress them up or down, they're just easy.

RANDOM

1. Trader Joes Peppermint Hot Chocolate

omg this stuff is so good. its great for an evening treat, it keeps you warm and feeling super festive! plus when your done you have a reusable tin.

2. Cupcakes

I've been baking like crazy this month, but its so relaxing for me, I really enjoy the stress relief of the whole process.

3. Aladdin To-go Mug

this keeps my coffee hot for a while. so I don't have to drink it cold... gross. I've been loving making my own coffee in the am before work or school.

4. Ellie Goulding

I've been listening to her music non-stop. its feel good music, that's calming, and her voice is amazing!

5. Harry Potter

I've been reading all the books again, I didn't realize how much I missed being in Harry's wizarding world. my absolute favorite books!

Trend Spotting: Embellishments

A huge trend I've been seeing for this fall and winter season is embellishment.

Sparkly and bejeweled clothing from sweaters to shoes, its a great way to add a pop of brilliance to any outfit, and with the holidays coming up its a great chance to dress up for parties.

I admit, it took me a while to warm up to this trend, i wasn't so sure about sparkle in a day to day outfit, but I've been loving what I've been seeing in stores and I think its a definitely a trend worth noting.

so without further ago here are three overly embellished outfits.

Outfit 1. Sweater Weather

for this outfit, its all about casually embellishing. a simple silhouette such as a white button down and black skinnies add a sleek sophisticated look. layer an embellished sweater over for a trendy and stylish look. this sweater is delicate and simple enough to keep the look classic and tasteful.

Outfit 2. Party Sparkle

be the life of the party with this sparkly ensemble. A embellished t-shirt dress is simple in silhouette but unique and visually appealing in concept. pair this dress with plain black tights and a pair of classy sparkly heels for a sophisticated look. finish off with a simple pave bracelet for an accessory.

Outfit 3. Casual Embellishment

this look is all about comfy casual, with a pop of unexpected at your feet. keep this look down to earth and comfy with cranberry skinnies and an oversized white t-shirt. throw on an oversized neutral cardigan to stay warm, and add a touch of sparkle with a simple gold pendant. The real excitement is the embellished shoes. the studding adds edge and sparkle to your outfit making it unique.

I hope you enjoyed, and let me know what you think of the new way of styling each look in the comments below!!

Thanksgiving is upon us, and picking out what to wear should be the least of your worries, so im putting together different outfits for a variety of thanksgiving events, so that way you have more time to prepare the turkey!

Outfit 1. Casual Thanksgiving

For a casual thanksgiving, take it easy with a pair of leggings, and oversized t-shirt and cardigan, choose festive colors like cranberry so it looks like you put thought into your outfit... but really you just want to eat as much as you can!

Outfit 2. In the Spirit of..

bring out your holiday spirit with a colorful outfit. mustard and cranberry don't just have to be condiments on the table, but tone them down a bit with neutral accessories, like a polka dot white top, and a tortoise printed necklace. fringe boots give this thanksgiving look a bit of edge.

Outfit 3. Hostess with the Most-est

to impress your guests, with something other than a perfectly carved turkey go all out with a little black dress. add an embellished cardigan and a blinged out statement necklace. add cute black flats or heels to finish off this glam look.

Weekend Outfit Inspiration

Come Friday afternoon, there are three nights and two days full of possibilities, so why not seize those moments as possibilities for great fashion?

it's a great time to break away from work uniforms, and what people expect you to be during the week, and dress in what makes you, yourself!

so here are three weekend inspired outfits

Outfit 1. Friday Night

spread your wings Friday night with a sequin top and high-waisted black skinnies. pair this look with a geometric pendant, and fringed booties for a boho vibe, and to stay warmer since its chilly at night, throw on a black cocoon cardigan to finish off your look.

Outfit 2. Saturday Brunch

waking up Saturday is a drag, all you want to do is sleep in, but planning a fun brunch and wearing your comfies makes up for it. pair an oversized t-shirt with a flannel and leggings to stay warm, but still chic. a knit infinity scarf and boots will make the look more put together.

Outfit 3. Sunday Hangout

Fall Colors

i don't know about you, but autumn is my favorite time of year, not just because of the pumpkin spice lattes, but because of all the rich colors. they're so pretty and elegant, that I can't help but be inspired.

so I am putting together three looks inspired by fall colors that I love!

Outfit 1. Classically Cognac

it may seem slightly out of your comfort zone, but coated skinnies are super trendy right now, and a pair of cognac coated skinnies? tres chic! to keep these pants from getting too outrageous, pair them with simple classic pieces in your wardrobe. a black and white striped shirt and grey cardigan will balance out the boldness of the pants nicely, while a red-orange scarf adds just a simple pop of color but in the same color family. finish off with a simple pair of black flats.

Outfit 2. Ravishing Reds

again expanding your horizons of fashion, but cranberry booties will surprisingly carry you very far in terms of your wardrobe, its one of those classic fall colors that will always be trendy. pair these bold boots with a grey knit jersey dress for a simple silhouette. a cranberry cardigan will help keep you warm. don't worry about matching the exact shade to your boots, a variation of this shade is kind of cool. finish off the look with a geometric pendant.

Outfit 3. Obviously Olive

olive is perhaps one of my all time favorite colors. I love how natural and effortless it makes any outfit. so for this casual look pair a light brown sweater under a olive green button down, treat the button down as you would a light layering jacket. pair this with grey skinnies for a more laid back vibe. again pair a geometric pendant to add some detailing, and finish off with a pair of olive green booties.

I hope you enjoyed. I love being inspired by all the autumnal colors!!
