so im going to put together 5 outfits for any Valentine's situation, and some make-up essentials so that no matter what you're doing this Valentine's day you're sure to look great!!
Outfit 1. Cupid should really wear Coral
This look is great for a Valentine's Date. Coral is a great shade to wear when you want to get dressed up, it's a little bit different than your typical pink or red, and is flattering on most skin tones.
i like this dress because it is a univeral body type kind of dress. it will cinch in at your waistline so that you'll look extra great for your date, and the lace trim adds an extra feminine touch to the dress.
turquoise accessories will look great with the bright coral color.
if its cold outside throw on a neutral fitted blazer and you'll stay warm but still look chic!
2. GAL-entine's Day
so if you're date-less (like me) go out with your girlfriends for a fun valentine's day, and you can totally comisterate together.
but its still fun to get dressed up so for your Gal-entine's date wear a pink sweater with a heart on it!
pair a red skirt underneath but don't tuck in your sweater for a more casual comfy look
wear flats because if your going out with your girlfriends, most likely you'll end up doing some shopping.. :)
pin half your hair back with a red bow, and wear a black cross body bag to carry your essentials.
this look is super date worthy, but lets face it, women dress to impress other women, so wear this one for your girlfriends, because they need to know you love them too!!
Outfit 3. Singles Awareness Day....
if you're just totally opposed to the whole idea of valentine's day but still love to look completely fabulous rock an all black accessory with one red accessory
rock this black T-shirt with the studding on the shoulder for a chic i dont care vibe.
pair the shirt with disco pants, and some black ankle booties for a fashion forward, yet laid back look.
for accessories again, wear a red bow... but tie your hair up in a bun and pin the bow in back, and of course a black purse!
now you're all set to show the world you don't really care!
Outfit 4. Casual Cupid!
So if your trying to keep it casual for Valentines day, but still want to look holiday appropriate wear a red sweater with polka dot jeans
pair this cute but casual outfit with matching red flats and a gold necklace
for a little extra bling throw on a couple of gold bracelets as well
finish the look off with a brown bag
Outfit 5. me, myself and I
if you're planning on staying in this Valentine's day why not do it in style!
wear some red heart printed PJ bottoms with a cozy oversized sweater
add some chocolate into the mix and you've got the perfect outfit and accessories!!
and don't feel sorry for youself, theres no use making yourself feel bad, its only a holiday and there are people who do love you!!!
Valentine's Day Make-up Essentials
1. a great mascara means flirty lashes
my eyelashes seriously look fake with this mascara. give them an extra coat of mascara or two this valentine's day!!
2. a fun pink lipstick!
be bold with a bright pink lipstick!! its a little pop of color that will make a big difference!
3. blushing blush
try a blush stain for Valentine's day. it will leave a great flush on your cheeks all day long.
4. mint green nail polish
mint green is a perfect color for your nails. its totally unexpected from the typical pinks and reds, but its also flirty and girly.
5. smell like the bouquet of flowers
a fresh floral scent will be sure to get someone's attention, plus it gives an extra boost of confidence knowing you smell great!!
