Beach Day!!

With the weather warming up, i crave the beach, the sand and that weird salty smell. i love the warm weather, so i put together three beach worthy looks! i take day trips to the beach, and usually find myself going out after, so i like to bring versatile beachy pieces and cover-ups to help transition from day to night.



Outfit 1. Totally Tribal



i love the color and the print on this swim suit. its interesting and has a flattering shape.

to cover up after the beach throw on a pair of shorts with the same idea. keep to the same kind of theme, obviously you cant see the swim suit through the shorts, but cordinating the patterns keeps the entire look cohesive.

and because this look is super casual, pair a crochet lace crop top over your swim suit top. you can still see the pattern on the swim suit, but the lace is a feminine way to stay a little more covered up.



a floppy hat helps to protect your skin from the harmful uv rays. being burned is enver a fun thing, nor is it fashionable. so keep your skin protected.

a braided leather sandal keeps the look casual but still put together.

Outfit 2. Color Blocked.

a cute color blocked one piece is a great way to express style while still remaining modest at the beach.

a yellow high-low dress is a perfect cover up for taking your beach look from day to night.

and an orange statement necklace helps to dress up this look, but still keeps a fun beachy vibe.

a striped flat adds pattern to the bold color statement of the outfit, but stick to the color theme of the suit as well, a navy and white stripe doesn't overwhelm the other colors.


Outfit 3. Pretty and Floral


a floral print is always a great option if you're ever unsure of what to get, its feminine, but theres so many different colors and patterns of florals enought to suit anyone's personality. (pun was intended).

when transitioning from beach to street a floral pair of skinnies helps to keep to the same theme.

 a chambray is great to layer over the swim suit top. tuck it into the jeans for a more polished look, or leave it untucked for a casual vibe.

 rose gold top siders are a perfect touch to this outfit. its laid back and nautical, but with a feminine twist thanks to the floral jeans.




so there are three outfits that transition from beach to whatever else you got going on after, but please dont forget to being these things when you go to the beach
