out with the neutrals and in with the color

so spring is all about color, and even though my closet is mostly neutrals, i have to say im loving the color trends for this spring!

so i picked my three favorite colors and put together outfits inspired by the beautiful hues.

Outfit 1. Tender Shoots

normally i'd be terrified to wear this color, but.... today at work i put together an outfit using this color and i surprised myself at how much i really enjoyed it.

start of with a cardigan. its still chilly outside so this is the perfect layer to start off with.

layer a crisp white button up underneath the cardigan. its a bright neutral which goes great with with celery green color.

tuck the shirt into the skirt, or leave it untucked with a belt around the waist for a more casual look.

finish off with a pair of peachy color flats and a gold statement necklace.

the soft pink tones will complement the bright green color nicely.

Outfit 2. Poppy Red

to start out, this color is really bold. so if you're intimidated... like me... keep it simple.

find a cute simple blouse in the poppy red and pair it with a pair of cream colored jeans.

the soft cream color with balance out the bright red blouse. it wont get too overwhelming but still look girly.

finish off the look with black flats and a black and white patterned hair bow

if you're feeling daring and want more of this beautiful red color be fashion forward with a pair of poppy red cat eye sunglasses for a classy but fun vibe

cat eye glasses are a classic feminine style.

Outfit 3. Nectarine

a great maxi dress is a perfect transition from the colder season, to the warmer spring months

a peachy-nectarine color is the perfect pick-me-up kind of color. its a nice break from the dark colors we've been wearing all winter.

since it might still be kind of chilly pair it with a denim jacket, which is a great staple for any closet!!

to dress it up throw on a pair of brown wedges, for a more casual look throw on flat sandals instead.

finish the look off with a turquoise scarf and some gold bracelets for an extra bit of sparkle.

so there ya go!! if you have any other spring colors you want me to put outfits together for, please let me know!

have fun!! <3!
