Outfit 1. Maxed Out
so much to my joy and delight i learned that i can wear a maxi skirt to work. it has to be a woven material so no jersey but thats ok.
tuck in a floral blouse, also woven, and wrap a belt around your waist to cinch it in.
then for my third layering piece (because i have to have a three piece outfit) i paired a peach colored cardigan over the blouse.
because i prefer flats to sandals at work, i paired my nude cutout ballet flats.
and of course my watch to tell the time!
Outfit 2. Pretty in Pink
Pink is an awesome go to color, it comes in so many shades so theres a pink to suit any personality, and its pretty and feminine.
start with a light pink cardigan, and pair it with a navy polka dot dress for a retro style outfit.
for shoes pair simple cognac colored flats with the dress for a chic look.
add a bold statement necklace to finish off the look.
Outfit 3. Mint Condition
so my last go to is probably the easiest. but its about taking a simple silhouette and dressing it up, and making it super chic.
mint green is one of my favorite colors.. and i can't say no to a chiffon button down blouse, so pair this cute top with a pair of navy cigarette pants.
having the cuff of your pant hit just above the ankle is a cute way to show off your feminine side during the spring, especially at your workplace where the environment needs to stay professional.
pair with a mint green flat and a cute lightweight floral scarf.
mint green, dusty rose and navy blue are one of my favorite color combinations, they're fresh, girly and complement each other very well.
- so there are three outfits i put together to fall back on in case i run out of creative ideas... its nice t already have a couple outfits to rely on for those mornings when im either running late or i just don't know what to do with myself.
and remember, have fun! <3!
